John:
Following is a tabulation of items that need to be resolved prior to
shipping. Shipping is planned for about 18 Sept.
1. Access panels need different attachments. Small panel by coolant
fill port fell out. Large panel is stuck, so it won't come off.
2. Diesel leak(being resolved tomorrow).
3. 2" SST tubes going to cooler are bending down due to weight of hoses
and hoses pulsing. I would suggest a second plastic clamp on uni-strut
is needed, similar to the first one.
4. Flow meters on fans. Temporary ones today to check flow. Please
purchase something that will be installed and stay with the unit.
5. Cooling resolution so pump can be operated at full capacity at 90
degree F day. Specification said 95 degree F operation. We will check
full capacity today. Air temp. was forecast to be 86 F today. I would
like to get fittings or components added to the pump unit, so we could
ship and add the
6. We have water and oil collecting on top of diesel tank. It does not
drain off, and has not evaporated. Long term this will collect and
damage the paint, even if the unit is not being used. What If: We
asked the tank supplier (who is here tomorrow) to add a series of drain
holes around the edge of sheetmetal, so excess water could drain in any
direction? Other ideas?
